I was a loyal AT&T customer up until January 2nd when I was looking to upgrade my phone and Verizon had a better deal on data packages. I bought the Samsung Stratopshere and my reception was great the first two weeks. After that the phone had really poor signal strength. I brought the phone in and was told that it was because I was only using my 3G and a support specialist turned my 4G on. That did nothing to help the issue. I called a couple days later and had a ticket created. I was told by the tech on the phone that other people in my area complained of no reception, but that it was probably just my brand new phone and should get a refurb. I refused and told him to just create the ticket first. I was promised a phone call within 24 hours, but no phone call was ever received. The signal is getting worse and worse and I am very upset I made the switch to Verizon. Now I am stuck in this two year contract with really poor reception. I have some choice words that would describe how I feel about the company, but I am pretty sure I am not allowed to post them.
