I am looking to upgrade and the Droid Pro is free...does anyone have one or know anything about them and would this be a good choice?
The DROID Pro is a smartphone and will require a data plan. If you are going with a smartphone, I would suggest a newer phone so it will be supported with software updates for most of your two year contract.
What are some of the newer phones? As you can tell I am not a cell phone connoisseur . Thanks for your input, and your response will be greatly appreciated.

Galaxy Nexus, Droid Razr Maxx, HTC ReZound are available now. The DROID Incredible 4G LTE and the Galaxy S3 will be available soon.
