my wife and i went to our local verizon store. they did a hard reset to try to combat some battery issues. afterward she was told that her downloaded apps would be restored once she re-signed in thru her google account. Once she did we found that many apps were gone. We were told that that was because the Market had determined that the apps were "no good" for her phone and we were told not to try to reinstall those apps. When we probed as to how these decisions were made we got blank stares and shrugged shoulders. Can anyone attest to or confirm this information. I understand that the nature of the Market is open source and there many many combinations of vendors, developers, hardware manufacturers and carriers but it seems hard to swallow that the apps can be purchased and downloaded and then just disappear.
Any help or guidance is appreciated.
