Outgoing voice issues

This has been an issue for both mine and my husband's phones now. Whenever we have a phone call, the person on the other end can't hear us. Mine was fixed, but I'm not sure how to be honest. With his, it just echos him back. I called my phone, and I can hear when he touches his screen (the hepatic feedback) but that's it. Any ideas?

Echoing can certainly be frustrating while on a call. No worries though, as I am available to get this resolved for you! May I ask what make and model Android device do you and your husband have? Also, what city and state are you in? Have you noticed a pattern as to when the echoing happens? For example, does it happens on outgoing calls or only when calling landline telephone numbers? I have provided some troubleshooting steps below to get this resolved for you. They are as follows:

• Attempt to duplicate the issue on Speakerphone as this may be an equipment issue.
• Adjust the volume level on the device. (Medium is recommended)
• Verify that bluetooth and wi-fi is turned off in settings while on a call. (or if you are not using a bluetooth device)
• Ensure that there are 3 - 4 bars of signal on the device while on a call.
• Verify that the device software is up to date.
• Update the device preferred roaming list by calling *228 and selecting option 2. (3G devices only)
• Remove and re-insert the battery.

Once you have performed the troubleshooting steps above then please retest the audio with several phone calls, at least one call to the person that the issue originally existed with. If the issue is resolved then congrats! If the issue persist then please reply with your findings as more troubleshooting may be needed.
