First, the android wants to delete all the texts from one person so I have had to save hundreds of texts in order to save a few pix. How do I download the pix? Don't really want to email them all to myself. Thanks in advance.
There SMS backup applications in the Play Store (formerly Android Market) that will backup the messages to an email address. Try that and see if it works for you.

I understand the importance of saving those precious moments you captured in your pictures on your phone. We have a great option called Pix Place, which provides the option to save pictures to an online album and the ability to transfer the pictures to your computer, e-mail or another phone. As an additional option you could transfer the pictures via your memory card with a compatible card reader on your computer.
