App removal

Verizon,

I would like to know the process for removing unneeded, in the way, and useless apps from my phones. For example, NFL Mobile, VZW Navigator, Citrix, Backup Assistant, etc. That'd be like a new car with an armpit smelling air freshener, a sunscreen with a hole in it, etc. I don't want that in my car. I don't want those apps on my phone.

If and when your device gets ICS, you can remove (most) of these.  These extra apps don't really impact performance, so if you just don't want to see them in the App drawer, you can hide them using any number of launchers.

If you really want them gone (or at least frozen),  you can look on other forums for methods that are "[deleted for violation of ToS]" here.
