is there anything i can do? like i woke up and i see that my chargers all melted and it burned a hole in the phone. I got the charger and phone from Asurion. could i take it back to the verizon store and get a new phone or am i SOL with that
call asurion and tell them what happened. that's an insurance company correct? so i assume you have insurance?
Definitely contact the people you bought it from. It sounds like a defective charger, and if it is, they owe you a new phone. Tell them how lucky they are not to be paying you for a new house to replace the one their defective product burned down!
Before calling them, though, you might want to check the outlet the charger was plugged into. Do other things plugged into it run hot? Does the outlet itself get hot when something's plugged into it? I'm no electrician, but we have had problems like that with our household wiring. If there's an issue there, you want to find out about it as soon as possible.
yeah i have insurance with them... im about to call them now.. thank you
nothing else gets hot when plugged into that socket and i have used that one to charge my phone before.. so i dont believe its the outlet. im talking to the company now
