Verizon signal booster

Question....has anyone out there had success with the signal booster for wireless? Just don't know if it is worth the $200. Wishing Verizon would mail one out to me. Signal is spotty at best. Just switched from ATT hoping for better reception. With ATT I had to talk outside, now with Verizon I have the front room of my house for best reception. Will the booster solve my problems??????

Cell phone external antenna's actually do work pretty well. You may not have to pay $200. There might be one cheaper on the internet. what cell phone do you have?

I have had really good success, especially with Cellphone Mate.

Google Cellphone Mate and look for a 40 to 50 db dual band (800 & 1900) BDA (bi-directional amplifier.

It might be a little diffiult to find a complete system for $200 but you can always check. I would also definitely recommmend the ones that have or can use an internal dome antennae.

I have a working solution at my river house that had zero and I mean zero service. I installed and went to full digital and can browse the internet with the aircard.

I am pretty experienced with this info so if you need more, just let me know and I can point you in the right direction without having to pay expensive learning lessons. I have already done that....

I have very weak (or zero) reception inside the house, and some if I go outside. The Verizon people are clueless about how to help and the internet is overwhelming, so I am not sure where to start. With my AT&T phone, it was easy, I went and bought a MCell unit and it solved the problem.

If you have broadband internet service at your home, you could try the Network Extender.

clueless? umm Verizon doesn't offer service in any home or car...

two carriers now, sounds like something is blocking the signal

If you go with a network extender it will use your internet service, its a femtocell service just like att offers

Well it is not $200 it is $300 after taxes in maryland and you have to have a specific router as I found out 5 mins ago. my router will accept any wireless extender... unbelievable!

I bought a network extender from verizon several years ago as I have a cottage on Lake Michigan I think the ONLY spot on their coverage map that is white, lol. It worked okay for voice but wouldn't send data so pretty useless to me now. I generally get a signal from Wisconsin which is in another time zone so I' m constantly an hour late for everything

Verizon finally sent me a signal booster that connects to my WI-FI modem. My signal is 100% better than it was and it's like having a small cell tower in my home, so they say. I live in an area that has less signal coverage even though it's in a city. It works!
