My number shows as anonymous/restricted caller when I call someone. How do I get my number to show.
It sounds like you have caller ID blocking activated - Log in to your account at verizonwireless.com; if you are the account owner you will have a box to click that says "Change Features" - choose your phone - scroll down the list of features till you come to Caller ID Block - Block your number from displaying to others when you call. Dial *82 + area code and phone number + SEND to display your number on a per-call basis.
If it is active, you will have the option to remove it, or you could leave it and remove it on a call by call basis as described above. If you are on a family plan and NOT the account owner or a manager, you may not have these options, and the account owner will need to log in and set it up for your line only.
Another thing, in addition to SuzyQ's post, that you can do is to log into My Plans and Services and on the right click on I Want To. Look in the Device column and click on Share Name ID. You can change it here so it doesn't say Wireless Caller for the Name on someone's Caller ID. That Wireless Caller thing drives me nuts! Like I have everyone's phone number memorized. With so many spam calls now coming from cell phones I don't answer if I don't know who it is. I wish the default were to show your name.
