Text Message transfer possible?

Does anyone know if it is possible to backup and/or transfer text messages and photos sent be text to a new phone or your PC? I have a Droid Pro and have just received a replacement phone == I do not want to lose some of my text threads. Any help out there? Thanks

I use the app SMS backup. Once loaded on the device, it will send all messages on the phone to your gmail account and from then on will send all new msgs there also

I use My Backup Pro and alternatively, WonderShare MobileGo. EIther of these will do the trick. WonderShare is free. My BackupPro has free/paid versions. Both will backup all/any. MBP will backup to your SD card and/or the PC. WS is a kinda cool GUI that runs on your PC and connects to the phone via USB or WiFi.
