when i send a text to another mobile it comes back saying failed and no name.does anyone know why i have a droid 3
How are you imputing the number? Are you using all ten digits of the phone number? Is it possible that the number has blocked you?

I've researched the issue you're experiencing and this is not commonly reported with your device. Are you using the preinstalled messaging application or a 3rd party messaging application? If using a 3rd party application please remove and retry. Is this happening on every outgoing message or is it happening randomly? Have you noticed if it's only happening with certain numbers? As Ann154 suggested please make sure you are inputting a 10 digit number to send the message. Let us know if you continue to experience difficulties.
