sync calendar from desktop?

The screen on my phone went out and I am going to be getting a new phone.  I went to my gmail account and my calendar hasn't been synced recently.  Can I get those updates through Backup Assistant, Backup Assistant Plus, or any other way? I have a lot of appointments that I need...

What is your phone model?

If it was an Android phone, is it possible that you were creating the events and saving them to the Phone (Only) calendar instead of the gmail calendar? Only events created and saved as gmail calendar events on the phone will be synced to the gmail calendar on the web.
