I may be going out of the U.S. this summer, and I have a question about a charger for my Samsung Stratosphere. (I'll deal with whether I can actually make calls with it separately; even if not, I'll need it for other things.) Verizon sells an international charger (http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/accessory?action=accessoryDetails&archetypeId=12560&accessoryId=47481), currently out of stock. I assume that it handles the difference in voltage between the U.S. and European countries; but the product description doesn't actually say that. Has anyone got experience using this or similar charges outside the U.S.?
I'd just get plug adapter, then you can use it for other things.

Yes, I have plug adapters. But I was concerned about the voltage. However, I just looked at the incredibly tiny print on the charger that came with the phone, and I see that it is actually labeled as a "travel adapter," and rated for 100-240 volts, so I'm good. Sorry for the unnecessary post!
Save yourself a headache and grab one of these.

Best 25 bucks back in 2005 I've ever spent for going overseas.

Could have bought a couple of beers with the $20 you'd of saved buying the other one.
Thanks, definitely worth a look if the somewhat miscellaneous collection of adapters I have now doesn't turn up a good one for this purpose.
