Not Recieving Texts, Texts Not Being Recieved

My sister and I are having some issues with our RAZRs. Texts are not being received by us and sometimes the people we text don't receive our messages.There are two numbers on AT&T that I have issues with consistently, and my sister is having issues with another Verizon customer. This was never an issue before, but as soon as we upgraded from 3G to LTE phones this has been an ongoing and incredibly frustrating issue. It's random, there's no telling if a message is received or "missed". And on long messages that get split up it's not uncommon to receive only half of the message.

I got Verizon Tech Support to file a network ticket to have the problem looked into more, and was told that the issue is with AT&T, not Verizon. I argued that this makes no sense since my sister is having the same issue with another Verizon customer but there was no note of this on the ticket so it was never looked into. Adding to the frustration, I was told that the issue is "resolved". Not getting all of my boss' texts is nice sometimes, but a far cry from a "resolution".

Has anyone else had similar issues? And if you have, has there been any real resolution?

Just wanted to Ask is the Text that you send to your sister an here back to You going threw with no Issues ?

When sending messages to different Network an Devices i think the Message has to coded to be able to go to that phone an if there is any issues when sending it. It could cause the Break up of the Message or it Not to Get it all. Instead of sending it by Text Have you Tried by Email Say like using there Gmail Usually when they have there Gmail on there phone it's on a there P.C. as well an if they don't get it on the Phone they should get it on the Computer. b33

I want to make sure that your messaging works consistently. Does this only happen with text messages or has this also occured with picture messages? Are you both using the stock Messaging app that came with the phone? Have you tried using a 3rd party app that would be available through the Play Store? Does this happen at all times a day? Is it just the 3 different contacts that you both have issues with? I would like to continue troubleshooting with you to resolve these concerns. I will be eager to receive your response.

As far as my sister and I can tell my sister and I have no issues sending text messages to one another. And yes, I have used email as a stand in for text messaging, especially with my boss, but I'm not looking for a workaround.

Picture messages do something else. As far as I know this only happens with one of the contacts I mentioned, but if he sends a picture message with text included I won't get the picture, just the text. The phone says it's a new MMS, it opens like an MMS, but the picture isn't there, just the text.

My sister and I both use the stock messaging program. I haven't used a third party app.

As far as I can tell it's just the three people I mentioned. While there is no pattern to the situation it has happened throughout the day. At one point I was not getting texts from either of the contacts I am having issues with for a full day. Other times it seems to only happen for a single message in a conversation.

I understand i think! It should be easy to program these little Charms of Lively Hood But as many things in Life they seem to Pose a Challenge!! I guess we all need to Go to the Lords House an Pray for some Guidance in programming Cellphones as we ask Him for Guidance in Many other Things as Well..b33 :smileyhappy:
