Huge window between messages :(

I don't know if any one else has this problem, but whenever I text with my wife (who is a Sprint customer) there is a large 5-15 minute window from when she sends her message and I receive them. Don't know if it's a phone or network issue. Anyone else having this issue?

I have seen this from time to time when I text a ATT customer, I investigated the issue further and this appears to be a network issue communication bug between the towers but it cant be identified which companies towers...   I really think this seems to be because of a delay on the tower switch when a one of us are texting while in transit.

I had a few drop calls because of a simular situation and I wouldnt be surprised if the messaging system experiances the same issue, but like I reported I only noticed it a few time and it hasnt been extreme enough for me.
