How do you carry the darned thing around?

OK, this will sound like a really stupid question, but seriously: I've ordered a new RAZR MAXX and it seems absolutely enormous to me. This will be my first "smartphone" and while I'm looking forward to all the features and functionality, I'm seriously wondering where I'll put it. It seems too big to fit comfortably into a pants pocket (where I'm accustomed to carrying my ancient, tiny dumbphone.) I see people at work who literally carry "smartphones" around in their hands from meeting to meeting, placing them like status symbols on each conference room table. I'm not into that, and would surely forget to pick it back up and would leave it behind at some point. I see a few people with those belt holsters; let's just say I'm not seeing those as a fashion statement that's for me. So what does that leave? How do you all do it comfortably (and without breaking it by, say, sitting on it?)

Well Here's a Few Options to Get you Started: Take a Look an See witch one Works the Best for Ya For me i Have the Leather Flap Pouch an the Pop in Case with the Kick Stand. One thing to Remember if you Decide to get a HD Station for your Maxx it cannot Go into the Station with the Fitted Cased attached to it. I have Tried them An it just Does not Work.. Good Luck in your Choice an have Fun with your Maxx

One more thing to Add Body Glove has a Case as well for the Maxx if i can get a Picture i will Post it. B33

Jerry sometimes i put my Maxx in my Oakly Glasses Bag: I put one in another for a little more thickness an Protection an they make for a really good thing to Clean the Razr's Display as the Bag is Made for this type of thing. Jerry Here is Also the Body Glove Case Not a Big Picture but if you Click on it. The picture should get a little Bigger in size.. B33

I just put mine in my front pocket. Probably my only complaint is that compared to my old trusty Droid X, the Razr is very very slick. Wish it had more of a rubberized back side like he DX did .. When I pull it out of my pocket, or sit it down on the edge of a sofa, it tends to slide or feel less than secure. Thinking of a case but not sure which way to go.

I have mine in a simple rubberized silicone case and it fits in my front pocket with no problem or my side pockets. Hell the Razr is Verizons thinnest phone and one of the worlds thinnest. I had a Revolution and did the same and that was a thicker and heavier phone. Being you have had regular phones for so long you will get used to this one.

front pocket. it seems a lot bigger than it really is (i have the tbolt...another rather large phone). i go naked and just put it in a pocket that i don't keep keys or change or anything else in. to me, cases just make them even bulkier.

JerryWasHere I can vouch for the second one down in B33's post, the combo holster/stand. It doesn't add tremendously to the size and is very handy with the kickstand.
You can get it on Amazon for less than $20, that's a whole lot cheaper than VZW sells it...

I agree. That is a nice case, because you can use only the back cover, which wraps around the sides, or cover the entire front too and it should still fit in your pocket.

Well Guys an Miss Sydney: I wanted to put some Choices on here to Choose from an there are a Few out there for the Maxx. An yes i have to admit i put my Maxx in my front Pocket too. Although sometimes if feels like a big lug or i'll put it in my Flap Holster an slap it to my side. But no matter how you look at there are some Good products to put it in..

P.S. i was also Looking at a Water Proof Box to put my Maxx in for times when it Raining Heavy Out.. When i find it again i'll slap it on here.. B33
