The sim card in my son's thunderbolt messed up a few days ago and he has his license but he's only 16. Would it be possible for him to go to the Verizon store and get another sim card? Or does the person going have to be 18 and up? Thanks in advance
I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that someone who is eligible for making changes on your account (don't remember their exact terminology) would have to go with him.
If you can validate the account over the phone I don't see why not. I have sent my son before to replace things from the Verizon store.
Could very well be, you could always call the store before hand... in fact, now that you mention it, we have a friend of my wife's on our family plan and at one point she had broken her phone, gotten a new one from another friend and went to the store to activate it herself, so it may not be a problem.
All I do is call in and give the info and then tell them I am sending my son to pick up whatever and gave his name. They check his ID and then give him whatever.
