Youtube over Mobile Web

Hello,

I just purchased an LG Dare and changed my plan to Nationwide Basic with messaging and VCast VPak.

If I go to a site like youtube.com over the mobile web browser and view a video, is viewing videos included in the unlimited mobile web? Or does this get covered under data charges?

I guess I don't really understand the data charges for my plan either. Do I have unlimited data as well as unlimited mobile web usage? I'm having a hard time finding somewhere on the Verizon site that clearly explains these features.

Your VCast package covers all of your data use, including the viewing of videos... fortunate that your phone has that capability; a lot of them don't.

To further answer your question; Mobile web browsing is just plain data, and with your VCast package, it is totally unlimited. It is all considered the same thing, except for anything that involves a purchase price or subscription charge...

im going to be purchasing the lg enV touch next week. What if you have the mobile web package for unlimited for $5 but do not pay for the vcast. Can you still view the videos on youtube? because that is just browsing to a page correct? The vcast charges are jut to view the videos provided by verizon wireless right??

Not necessary true. As stated above the $5 for mobile web is just that access to use mobile web.Vpack/cast is for you data usage, and you will get charged something.

I know back in the day on older plans they used your minutes for mobile web access; FYI

Just break down and get the connect plan so your data and mobile web is covered.
