copy and paste WiFi WPA key in Lucid

How can I copy and paste a 63 character WiFi WPA key in the LG Lucid phone? The key is totally random and the chances of typing it correctly are slim at best. The WPA standard allows up to 63 character for a key. I would like to put a file on the SD card via usb and then somehow paste the key into the correct WiFi setup field. Seems to be a pretty basic capability ...

There are several other office-document apps in the Google Play Store (curiously enough, I can't find Polaris Office there). Some are free, some are paid. I'm not sure about free versions doing copy and paste, but they might. I use QuickOffice; Documents to Go is another good app that I've used on non-Android devices, and there's also Office Suite Pro and Olive Office.

But there are faster ways to get the WPA key onto your phone. You could e-mail it to yourself, or send yourself a text message, from your computer. Either of these can be used to leave the login info available on the phone permanently, or can be deleted if you don't need it anymore. To e-mail yourself a text message, address the e-mail to your cell number @vtext.com (e.g., 1111111111@vtext.com). Once the message is received, both the e-mail program and the text messaging program should support the tap-and-hold copy and paste function described earlier.

put a basic notepad file into the root of the SD card. open it up, and you should be able to copy and paste the contents from there.

Thanks for the quick response. I put a .txt file onto the SD card. I don't know what app or function that I would use to open this file and copy/paste the key. I tried Polaris Office and can open the file but edit is grayed out. Any other editor that I can use?

Did you tap and hold on the text and wait for the highlight tabs to show?

Good Morning. While the file is open in Polaris Office tapping the text changes the zoom. Is there another app that I should be using to open this file? By the way, I'm learning the in's and out's of the Lucid; have only had it for 5 days.
