Love my LG Spectrum, having a problem with quiet time setting.

Love my LG Spectrum, having a problem with "quiet time" setting. It is dimmed, so the option (in email settings) is not available to change. With my previous phone (Samsung Continuum~which was horrible) you are able to set a time when no "notifications" for email come in. Is this not a current option or is there a setting? Thanks!!!

Yes. Click on the Email icon and tap on the menu key (bottom left key). Tap on Settings, and you'll find Quiet Time in the General settings section.

Thanks mortb, I tried what you suggested. The "Quiet time" is greyed out. Under that section (General Settings) "Set default account" is white; "Account to sync with server... " is greyed out; "Roaming" is white; then "Quiet time" is greyed out. The next section is Notification. Thanks.

I visited my local Verizon store and spoke with a customer service rep, who had the Spectrum. He was puzzled, he came to this site.....showed him my entry. He looked around and was also not sure as to why I'm not able to set the Quite time. We both concluded that it has something to do with that email account (time warner cable road runner).

So, if you have Road Runner with Time Warner Cable, you will not have an option to set the Quite Time. As of this date, there is no plan to fix this problem. The workaround is to manually get mail from that account.

That's funny, I also have Time-Warner Roadrunner e-mail. I have it listed as "other." Gmail is my primary, Hotmail is my secondary, and finally RR, which I give to businesses I really don't want to hear from again. I tapped on it, Then the menu key and tapped on more>settings>quiet time. I checked (tapped on) the quiet time box, and the start-end time boxes became available. Now remember, tap on SETTINGS and NOT Account Settings (right above it). At least it worked for me.

To turn Quiet time on, you MUST tap on the Quiet time box and check it. Than the start-stop times will come on. Did you check the box? Also, please read the first message I just submitted concerning this topic and Roadrunner.

I'm not sure what is going on, my quiet time is grey, nothing happens when I press it. I think I'm going to remove that account and set it back up. I have my g mail and road runner email accounts set up on the phone. I appreciate your responses. Thanks.
