I recently got a droid and I have changed the ringtone for every NOTIFICATION however when I get a text it starts with my ringtone and then in the end it still says DROID!!! Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are using an app for your texts like handcent, you still have to disable the notifications for the stock messenger. If you set your ringtone for the app and did not disable the stock messenger that would explain both notificaitons.
