does anyone have trouble with their phone shutting off when sliding it open and closed?

What a nuisance it can be for your phone to keep shutting off! When did this start happening? There haven't been many other reports of this happening. The most common report is that the phone is powering on when it's supposed to be off. I know this is very basic, but is it possible that the phone is in Sleep Mode? This may make it seem as if it's powering off. Try pressing the Power/Lock button at the top of your phone. If it is powering off, you can try placing the phone in Safe Mode to see if maybe a 3rd party application is causing this to happen. You can leave in Safe Mode for about 6 hours to see if there are any changes.
