No 3g connection

I'm having troubles connecting to my 3g, when my wifi is turned on everything works but when my stratosphere never connects to the 3g. This is my second phone in less then a month, the first one wouldnt show me how much data was used. Also My picture messgeing is werid, i feel only people with smart phones recieve my pictures, it also sends them like a video? but it doesnt to other smart phones. Should i go to check for another replacement or try to recieve a new phone if possible. I don't want to continue with these problems and constantly having to go and replace my phone.

I'm sorry to learn about the issues you're experiencing with your phone. I'll address all your concerns below.

3G connectivity:

First try to reprogramming the phone by removing/reinserting SIM card this will reset the connection and may resolve issue. Also enable data roaming and test, you will not incur roaming charges unless you use phone outside the USA. Disabling/re-enabling data may also restore 3G connection.

Picture messaging issue:

Are you using a 3rd party application (i.e. Handcent)? If so, please remove application and use native messaging application. If you are using the native application, run phone in Safe Mode to ensure no 3rd party application conflicts exist. If issue stops while in safe mode you must identify/remove the conflicting application. No easy way to identify, I would remove all 3rd party applications and add one by one and test to identify and delete conflicting app.

Replacement:

You can exchange your phone with a different model only within 14 days of purchase. If the exchange period has expired we can only provide a Certified Like New Replacement as per the warranty policy.
