How can I create a shortcut/link to a Documents to Go document on my Droid Eris's desktop/workspace?

Hello,

 

I figure there has to be a way that I can create a shortcut to a document that I often open on my HTC Droid Eris.  It would be so much nicer if I could just create an icon for the document so i wouldn't have to Open applications, scroll for documents to go, tap that, then tap File. tap open, scroll and look for the file, select the file and choose open......

 

Surely there's a way I can just add a shortcut on my Android desktop.

Hi.  I can certainly tell you how to save a document on your homescreen.  If the document has a URL, you can just save it as a bookmark.  When you go to your homescreen, you can go to "Menu" and then "Add" and click on "Shortcuts" to add a bookmark.
