Getting voicemail as a friends and family number?

How do I get my voicemail to be one of my friends and family numbers so I do not use my minutes when I call it? The powers that be suggest it in the prompt, but does not tell you how to go about doing it.

*86 does not work as needs to be a 10 digit number: XXX-XXX-XXXX

Also, as a follow-up question, we have a family plan with three lines, do I have to enter in individual ten digit numbers for each person's line or will one number cover them all?

Voicemail cannot be added to your friends and family list.

Its ten numbers shared between all lines on the family share. You'll only have to make up one list.

Voice mail should be abled to be added. Can't you just put in your own number?

It automatically kicks it off the list because it's a verizon number.

I kinda cheat because i have 2 phones lol I call the one that has a voicemail from the other phone lol that way its counted as M2M minutes.

idk, my F&F are ful, but when ever i call my vm via *86 and look at my online call log that is what pops up
