Rezound Keyboard a disaster

Is it me or is anyone else having issues w. typing text messages using the onscreen keyboard? The thing is so incredibly sensitive, it constantly misfires the wrong key--and the design is terrible in terms of proximity to the main keys at base of the phone--several time i was trying to hit the period, but that is so close to the home page button i inadvertantly hit that--thus loosing the  the text i was working on.  I find it difficult to find contacts (i will tap e, but instead it registers as "r".)

I know the feeling. The main reason I bought a Stratosphere was the physical keyboard, which works way better for me when typing anything beyond a short phrase.

For the Rezound, you might want to check the Market for alternative keyboards. The GO keyboard is popular. I downloaded it in order to be able to search in a certain app in non-Roman-alphabet languages; but I liked it enough that I made it my default keyboard.

You might even have alternative keyboards already installed on your phone. On my Stratosphere, from the Home page I go Menu > Settings > Language & keyboard. The sequence may be different on the Rezound, but I would think there'd be something similar. On the Strat, there are Swype (hate it), Samsung keypad, and Android keyboard. Of course, the Rezound would have different options, but it might at least have options. Differences among them may look subtle, but you might be able to find one that works with your fingers better than the stock default.
