Verizon pushed an update through for me on Feb 21, 2012. I never had any issues with my phone until then. It created multiple bugs for me.  My phone is a mess now.  Verizon said they can't undo it, so what do I do now that they messed my phone up?

Some examples of issues it caused me: the phone screen freezes and wont react to anything unless i pop out the battery to reset it.  The weather ticker on the phone will not update anymore. The calendar will not update anymore. the apps I downloaded (not the pre-loaded apps) are now auto-starting and draining the battery. Have to turn the phone on/off multiples times a day to get phone to work smoothly.

when is the next update to fix all these new bugs?

my phone is almost useless now and I used to be so happy with my phone.

Thanks Verizon for messing up my phone. You should pay for a new one not me/

DITTO. Between mine and my son's Continuums we have experienced the sam problems and more. I had to get a new (refurbished) one after the factory reset didn't help me. I've reset the 2nd one already. I've done a ton of research and everyone says the firmware update is bad all around, not just this phone, or just Samsungs. The story is that the hardware, software and service providers don't collaborate AT ALL before forcing updates on us. I haven't seen an ETA on the patch for this, but the recent update took Verizon 6 months to push out after it was released by the maker.

I got my weather bug to work by enabling Current location. I've not hard re-set my son's phone to address the battery drain, screen freeze.and alarm not working but we're going there next.
