Android 4 receiving picture/video messages help

I just recently purchased an Android 4 and I am having issues with receiving picture and video messages. I get the message with the two options of download and reject. Everytime I try and download it, it sits there saying it's downloading but then it fails. This happens every time. Anyone know how I can get this to work? I wasn't able to find any specific options in any menus to change anything.

Hi PainofDemise. I am here to help with your picture messaging issue. There are not any additional settings you need to turn on to allow picture messaging to work. As long as data is working on the phone and picture messaging is setup on your account correctly, it should work. Are you able to access data on your phone? Is your phone showing 3G or 4G when trying to send picture messages? Try powering off and back on and then try sending yourself a picture message.
