Im an idiot and can't register for my verizon. edumacate me please

hello

a couple weeks back ordered two phones to take advantage of a promotion and gave them as gifts to my niece and nephew. I just received an email saying i owe$910 on my bill. Tried to log on to my verizon but cant because the phnoes have apparently not been activated (although i have an email to the contrary). I received a temporary password in the mail and even that isn't working. whats happening and who can help me

They needed to start NEW accounts, not swap them onto current accounts.

Hello carreonmywaywardp! I can help figure this out for you. Did you create a new account for these two new phones or did you add them onto your existing account? If you have a VZW phone active on this same account, register for the My Verizon account with your own mobile number, then it will list all of the numbers on the account and the full bill. I'm not sure if a message was removed, but based on the post budone has, it sounds like you may have upgraded or added two new lines and then transferred those to another account without accepting the 2 year contract on your own account. Please let me know if this is what happened or explain in further detail whether this was a new account, upgrade, or two add-a-lines.
