What are the possible causes that might make the Samsung Stratasphere over heat?
Hey there DLady! The circumstances that bring about overheating are varied, but I would say the most common is poor signal availability. All Verizon Wireless phones are designed to search for the strongest possible signal so that it can be ready to handle your calls, messages, and data needs when you need it. Therefore, if you find the that phone is most often used in areas where signal is low to non-existent, the device will have to work harder and harder, and as a result grow warmer to the touch. Warmer phones can also be the result of using the device while it is charging.
It is also possible that the phone is heating up because of a malfunction.
