Pantech Breakout

I uploaded pictures to my Pantech Breakout from Picassa and for those pictures I know longer have the option to delete or move them to the sd card.  The verizon rep was just as confused.  She thinks if the phone is restored to factory seetings this will fix the problem and the options be back.  I would rather not have to do this and lose all info on the phone.  I do have it backed up but still what a pain.  Any suggestions how to correct the problem.

I've had Picasa pictures show up  on my Samsung Stratosphere when I wasn't expecting them. From the behavior I observed, I believe that what happens is that the phone actually connects to Picasa online and displays the pictures from there. Hence you wouldn't be able to delete them or move them to the SD card, since they're not actually on the phone itself.

I had told my phone to quit syncing to Picasa, and these pics disappeared from Gallery. I just had it sync again (Home screen > Menu > Settings > Accounts and sync, select Google account to set sync options, check or uncheck Sync Picasa Web Albums). After a sync, the Picasa photos are back. But they're not really on the phone, it seems, at least not in a way that you can manipulate them.

You may need to e-mail the selected pictures to yourself to actually get them on the phone. I don't think doing a factory reset would do any good at all, and as you say it would create a major headache. This seems like an instance in which Google outsmarted itself, or at least outsmarted its users. Certainly it outsmarted the Verizon rep!! They really ought to know how these phones work.
