Spectrum notification light

I have an LG Spectrum and have nothing but good things to say about it. It's super fast, the display is great, and the camcorder is more than terrific. However, one thing bugs me. When I get notifications, such as email, the notification light does not come on and blink like it does on my Droid X. Is there somewhere in Settings I can go to check on it? I looked at several possible sections, such as Display, but found nothing which might help. Am I missing something, or do I just have a faulty phone where the light is inoperative? If that's the case, I'll live with it since I don't plan to exchange it for something as trivial as an inoperative notification light.

Just now read that the Spectrum does not have a notification light. Interesting. :smileysad:

Not sure what is available in the settings. If you cannot find anything, here is an application suggestion that I have been using with a Galaxy Nexus for more control of the LED notification light.

Nope, that didn't work either. Gave it the old college try. Like I said, I'm not going to worry about it, it's so trivial. The phone has so many great features, so why worry about a small light? Some people might jump up and down in a rage over something like this. Why? Even if I do take it in for a replacement, who's to say that my next phone will not have the same problem, or worse? I go by the motto, "Be happy with what I have."

Then you might want to look at the "NO LED" applications in the market. These applications will display a moving dot on your screen along with other options.
