After update MAXX won't play most of my MP3's

Just got a Droid Razr MAXX. All my MP3's played great until I downloaded the update. Now I get a message that my device will not play this type of file.

I erased the music from the SD card and reloaded the music to the card. Now it won't play music it played previously.

Any ideas?

I reformatted the sd card per visit to the phone center. The phone will take downloads from Amazon in the internal memory and I can transfer the mp3's from internal to external memories, and they play, but transfers from any computer go missing or the files are changed.

And it seems that no one reads these forums.....
