But my wife's phone did. I get "Check for update was not available at this time", or the spinning symbol forever -- on the charger, and connected by WiFi.
Is there a way to use a USB connection from computer to phone to do the update?

Boot to safe mode, and then checked. Every thing worked, and after the two updates, phone seems faster and the battery life is longer.
