My HTC DI2 has started developing continual and random engagement into car mode, thereby causing the speaker phone to always be on and a host of other bugs such as screen flash and page resets.
I have had the phone since February, as it was a replacement for a HTC DI2 which completely froze up and was unusable. Went to Verizon store, tech did a hard reset and installed an app killer. I didn't make it home before it reappeared. I called back to the store and they referred me to technical service. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with tech doing a factory reset. This appeared to resolve the problem for a few hours. But the issue came back.
I went back into the store and they informed me since it was a replacement phone, it only had a 90 day warranty and to replace the phone I would have to file a claim with Asurriun with a $100 deductible. I responded that my original one year warranty had been shortened by a month due to no fault of my own and it was not fair. They said that was policy and to try to take it up with HTC.
I contacted HTC and they claimed they had never heard of this issue????? Ha, seriously its one of the most documented issues with several models of HTC and a few other phones. They offered no support or assistance of any kind.
Anybody who has any ideas how to resolve this issue please respond. I use my phone daily for work and need a reliable device and cannot afford $99 more for a replacement.
Thanks.

I have tried the cleaning of usb port etc. No sign of objects or unaligned wires.
