Data Plan Concern!

Hi. My billing cycle ends on the 15th so I need an answer ASAP. I had a Motorola Q with the unlmited data plan, but I just recently switched to an LG Voyager. I racked up 30,000 KB on the Q, and I have the Vcast VPak on my Voyager, but will Verizon charge me for the unlimited data plan and the VPak or the VPak and the Data (Per KB)?

Hmmm . . . well I guess once again I'm about to learn something else. So if you've got a smartphone with an unlimited data plan and you switch your equipment only (phone) to a non-smartphone . . . Verizon will automatically switch you to a regular data plan (pay per kb)? I hope I've understood this correctly . . . odds are I may haven't though.

I guess I got it wrong because I would have thought that merely changing phones would not affect the level of data plans you've signed up to receive. Guess I learned something :smileyhappy:

That is correct, when you switch a regular phone while having a pda or blackberry phone the take off the data plan.

I'm pretty sure thats what they'll do, but it is the cell phone industry. Thanks for all the help.

If they try to charge you for that. Just keep complaining about it. Tell them you will switch or something. That will make them listen.
