Jelly Bean failed OTA

Anyone else having issues installing Jelly Bean? Every time I attempt, I get a dead android. I have even done a factory reset which I was not happy about and it did not work. At all. So If I am doomed not not have the Jelly Bean update (I'll live without b/c I think ICS is still good) how can I make the phone stop trying to automatically do the update OTA?

I've read a few posts where people didn't have luck downloading an update even with a factory reset, but after getting a new SIM card, the update came through.  So, you might want to try a new SIM card; they're free at your local Corporate Verizon store
