Goes into sleep mode during a call on speaker

I have experienced my phone going into sleep mode during a call that was on SPEAKER. The only way I know to "wake up" the screen is to hit the top button on the side (the one that turns the phone on and off) However, when I do this, it hangs up the call. How do I wake up the screen without hanging up the call??? Please help.

I don't have your phone so I'm not sure of the exact placement in the menu, but what you want to do is change the setting that allows the power button to end a call.

Try Settings>Accessibility and see if there is an option to uncheck "Power button ends call".  I hope that this helps.
