"My Music" App gone

Since the recent update to my Droid Razr, I no longer have a "my music" app. I previously was able to stream using Motocast and use the my music app to play my music, however now there is no option. Anyone else having this problem or have any solutions??? Thanks

The My Music app was replaced by Google Play Music app.

I use the Google Play music anyway, but I'm having issues is it no longer see my music stored on my external sd card!

I'll be starting a new thread of my own for that.

I have that app, however I can't seem to stream my music from Motocast

with it...

I got it... thank you so much... I'm quite disappointed with these

changes, as I would use the "My Music" app to stream my music with

Motocast daily and now that isn't possible. I can go in to Motocast and

listen to my music, however can't shuffle the playlist. Ugh, so

frustrating!!!

I never used motocast due to installation problems but the "My Music" and "My Gallery" apps worked well as DLNA renderer/servers. I could stream to my TV directly and play from my computer library via MP11. I haven't found another app with an uncomplicated GUI and the ability to manually scan for servers or turn sharing on and off. Any suggestions for alternative apps?

Here is a quote from my missing link above, about motocast...

MotoCast is no longer integrated into anything on the device, including the Files app. It’s now a stand alone app (it has been enhanced to be much more powerful).

Don't know if this helps, but there you go anyway.

I truly hope you've been enjoying the new update thus far. But still, I realize completely you've got a concern about the case of the missing app, so I'm here to clear that up.

As suggested by a fellow community member, "My Music" was replaced by "Google Play Music" with the new update. You can learn more about the benefits of the update at http://vz.to/sXxX2y . I hope this helps!

I am very disappointed with this change also. With the "My Music" app I could play mp3's on my phone though my Sonos Zones. All I had to do was press and hold the mp3 file and it gave me the option to play the mp3 on other devices.

Anyone know of another player that can do this?
