Early this morning I received a text message from Verizon stating a phone on my line made a web purchase. 1. The line in question doesn't have data, as it belongs to a teen and it isn't a smartphone. 2. Said child does not have log in information to gain access to the account and 3. I have no idea where to locate said purchase that text message said I could view.
I spoke with my teen and he informed me that he also received the text and that he most certainly did not make any web purchases and that he couldn't if he wanted to since he doesn't have internet on the phone.
What gives? Can lines me hacked?
