i am having issues activating my phone, its a droid htc incredible 2 and its putting me in  global mode when im in the us and i have plenty of service where i am located. iv tried to switch it over to cdma mode in the settings still nothing????? any suggestions?

The SIM card isn't needed for service on Verizon Wireless. Can you try turning off the phone and removing the SIM card. Then reassemble and boot up to the phone to attempt the activation again.
