Starting up service again

is there any way to take my old verizon phone and start using verizon again? i turned my phone off a while ago... and now im thinking about turning it back on.. is there any way to just call and have them give me a new number so i can turn it back?

Yeah, it's pretty easy. Because you have an existing phone you won't need to sign a new contract; but a credit check security deposit may apply. Just call 1-800-2-JOIN-IN (800-256-4646) for telesales, but be sure to call from a seperate line.
