I've had my Droid x2 for a couple years now with no damage whatsoever, and now the screen displays nothing but static most of the time.
It still goes through all the start up sounds and you can even unlock it with the touchscreen, but the screen itself is completely static. I stopped into my local Verizon store but with the phone no longer under warranty they won't do anything to help. Is the $100 nonrefundable insurance for a used phone my only option? I really don't like paying $100+ a month and not receive much in the way of help.
