I have a Droid Bionic and a Droid RAZR 16GB. Lately, I noticed on the RAZR that the 4G LTE icon is gray whenever I have wifi turned on, but comes back to life when I turn wifi off. On the Bionic, I have the 4G LTE icon lit up even when wifi is on. There is an app called Motorola Restore Connectivity Settings on the Play Store that advertises that it is specifically for the Droid RAZR (among others), yet, when I try to install it, Play Store tells me it is not valid for my phone. I should be able to have 4G working for phone calls even if Wifi is on, yet I can't seem to correct it. I've tried modifying the settings, rebooting, and resetting the phone, but the moment I start Wifi, the 4G icon goes gray and test apps tell me I do not have 4G connectivity, even though I live in a strong 4G area.
Any suggestions on what might be causing this - or how I can install the Connectivity app through the back door, so to speak, would be greatly appreciated.
