The cost will vary, for international texts. It can be from .20 to .75 cents. Here is a link to the Verizon page that tells you how much it costs to text to each country.

so these are the costs for all texts, regardless of plan?
What country are you calling to? Calling is so inexpensive, cause you have too many options. For texting you are stuck with Verizon. I can call India for anything between 3.2 cent to 5.9 cents. I know their are other calling cards that might be cheaper than 3.2 cents too.
