Notes Disappeared

Yesterday my Yahoo mail account was hacked and I had to create a new password. I also deleted everything in all of the yahoo folders. Today when I turned on my iPhone i noticed that all my notes were gone,deleted,vanished. Could this have something to do with my Yahoo mail account ? If so, how ?

Sorry to learn that you had a security issue with your Yahoo account! That's something we all dread, but I'm very glad you were able to reset your password and get it up and running again. With regard to the notes, I assume that they were added from your Yahoo account. Since you mentioned that you deleted all of the folders in the account, this would in turn delete the notes as well. If you had added the notes from another email account, they would still appear.
