screen cracked

I had my phone for only 30 days. Never dropped it. I have a zagg screen protector on it, and a trident ageis case. All I did was pick it up off my desk to use it and there was a crack running across the screen. I have insurance and had to pay $99 deductible for a new phone. This is sad because this is not my fault and I believe this is a manufacture problem. They need to recall the phone. I have researched and found many other people who have had the same problem.

Just a guess here. Some cell phones heat up more than they should, and that could cause your glass to crack. I agree that when these glass screens are manufacturered they are stress tested and probably heat tested since glass when made is under extreme heat conditions. You may read about others having this problem, but it is not that one million phones are doing this but a few hundred or thousand at best.

It was good you had insurance but a new phone has a manufacturer warranty  which verizon will replace the phone for free. After the first year the insurance would have kicked in.
