So my friend was holding onto my phone for me and he dropped it. Now the screen is black, but the backlight will light up when you hit the unlock button, the home button or receive an alert. The sound works perfectly fine, and voice control works when trying to call someone, but i wont be able to hang up. also when plugging it into an idock and pressing play on the dock it will work. I took the phone apart and put it back together to make sure everything was hooked up right, but it still wont work. anyone know what could be wrong possibly? i dont want to spend money on a new screen if i dont have to.
