Text/Picture Messaging on iPhone 5

It seems as though 75% of the time when I try to send a text (other than an iMessage) the text either fails or takes several minutes to send. Picture messages fail about 80% of the time. My iPhone 4 never had this problem and it's really beginning to frustrate me. Has anyone else had this issue or do I have a bad iPhone?

I've been having the exact same problem & I agree that it is beginning to be frustrating. I google searched this issue and all I could find was to reset the general settings. Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings. This will reset the most basic things (screen background, ringtone, etc...). I don't know if this will work for you, but it did not work for me. My Group Messaging is also not working. I'll be calling Verizon ASAP, this is unacceptable.

I saw the same "fix" and tried it. It did absolutely nothing for me other

than annoy me at having to tweak all my settings again. I figured I had

just been trolled, really, as it did absolutely nothing and I figured I was

dumb enough to fall for it.
