10 dollar text plan question

Hi,

I switched from the unlimited to the $10 dollar texting plan. I notice in my breakdown that there is a "M2M" category which says that texts to another Verizon cell phone does not count toward my 1000 text allotment per month. Is that correct? I could send as many texts as I wanted to other Verizon cell phones for and that will not count towards my 1000 limit? So I could send 5000 (or whatever) texts to verizon cell phones and it would be essentially free? Thank you for the clarification.

AFAIK, the $10 texting plan does not include M2M texts.  If by 'breakdown' you are talking about the column in your detailed text usage on MyVerizon ... yes, that column is there and it includes Verizon-to-Verizon texts that would be 'free' (i.e., not counted toward your 1000 text limit), but it always has 0s in it.  I would assume it's there for those older text plans that did include M2M texts.
